BCA promotes high academic standards while helping the students to achieve skills in creative and critical thinking, using the best-integrated curriculum available. The objective of our instructional program is to enable the student to pursue the post-secondary education of his/her choosing, whether in college, university, or in vocational training areas.
BCA follows Texas Education Agency standards for course requirements, but does not apply Common Core. Honors level courses are available in English, Mathematics, Science, History, Government, and Economics. Dual credit classes are available on campus for the following courses: English 1301, English 1302, English 2322, English 2323, and Philosophy 1304 (Ethics and World Religions).
BCA also works with Lee College to provide dual credit courses taken at the Lee campus, including:

100% of the senior class of 2018 have been accepted to their target colleges/universities and are registered for the Fall of 2018.
Most of the seniors will be attending colleges in Texas with two out of state- one at the prestigious Washington University in St Louis (only 17% of applicants admitted) and the other at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia.
We had eight seniors this year and they received acceptance letters from the thirteen colleges and universities:
