The Baytown Christian Academy Board of Directors consists of volunteers committed to fulfilling the mission and philosophies of BCA. The members of the Board give freely of their time and talents in making BCA a better organization.

Kathy Winn - Board President

Kathy Winn joined the BCA board in 2011 and became president in 2015. She previously held a position on the Baytown Christian Foundation board prior to returning to the BCA board in 2011. Kathy is married to Wes Winn and has had three children graduate from BCA - Randy (Class of 1997), Jeri (Class of 1999), and Wesley (Class of 2012). The Winn family are active members of Alliance Bible Church. Kathy is a seventh-generation Baytownian, attending Baytown schools throughout her education. She is a graduate of the University of Houston, a Life Member and Past President of the Service League, a Sustaining Member of the Baytown Junior Forum, and Charter Member and Past President of Beta Kappa Delta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. She is the grandmother of four.

Michael Usry - Board Vice President

Michael Usry has been a member of the BCA Board since 2011. He is married to Tracy Usry and they have two daughters - Grace (BCA Class of 2013) and Emilia who currently attends BCA. The Usry family have been residents of Baytown for 16 years and are members of Second Baptist Church of Baytown. Michael has been a volunteer coach for BCA Athletics for the last 11 years. He currently is a District Manager for Barnes & Noble and has worked in retail management for over 26 years. He received his Master Degree from Troy State University. In addition, he also served as a Field Artillery Officer in the Louisiana National Guard for 13 years where he received his commission through OCS (Officer Candidate School).

Daren McClellan - Board Secretary

Daren McClellan began his service on the Board in 2012. He and his wife Cindy are the parents of Jonah (BCA Class of 2012), Annie (BCA Class of 2015), Janci and Josie, both currently enrolled at BCA. The McClellan family members are active in the congregation of New Wine Christian Church where Daren served as youth pastor for over 16 years. He is a licensed customs broker and president of four family-owned companies. In addition to his volunteer work as a BCA Board member, Daren is also actively involved in the BCA athletic program having served as a volunteer coach with the junior high and high school football programs.

Stacey White - Member

Stacey White returned to the Baytown Christian Academy Board in January 2013. She brings with her a diverse background in the for-profit and not-for-profit arenas, with a particular emphasis in education and financial management. She previously served from 2006-2011. Stacey is a Partner and Practice Development Director of M. White Financial Services. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University, and holds a Master’s Degree from The University of Houston. She and her husband Matt are the proud parents of Cullen and Avery.

Stephen Lambert - Member

Stephen Lambert joined the Board of Trustees in January 2016. Stephen and his wife Shelley are the parents of Owen, grade 6, and Libbie, grade 2. The Lambert family are active members of Second Baptist Church in Baytown. Stephen is owner / operator of Highlands Auto Parts. Shelley is a former Developmental Coordinator at BCA is a free-lance photographer serving the Baytown/Highlands area. In his spare time Stephen likes to golf, fish, and work on vintage automobiles.

 

































































































































































































































































































































































































































































 

Board of Trustees Meeting Information

The Baytown Christian Academy Board of Trustees meets monthly in closed session. The Board invites patrons to address concerns, ideas, and other general comments during a Citizens' Participate Open Forum in the school cafeteria 30 minutes prior to each monthly Board meeting. Dates and times of the monthly meetings are posted on the BCA campus calendar located on the home page of the web site.
